We'll now solve the following level 1 easy Sudoku game 9.
Following the conventional strategy of starting scan for digit 1 we get successes: R2C4 1 by scanning for 1 in R3 -- R5C6 1 by scanning for 1 in R5, C4.
Scanning for next larger digit 2: R5C3 2 by scan in R4, R6 -- R3C5 2 by scan in C6 -- R3C6 5 by exception in top middle major square.
Going back to conventional scan strategy, now we'll scan for 3 (with no success with 1 or 2): R5C6 3 by scan in C4, C5. No more success with 3.
Scanning for 4: R6C3 4 by scan in R4 -- R2C1 4 by scan in C2, C3 -- R3C7 4 by scan in R1, R2, C9 -- R8C6 4 by exception in C6 -- R9C8 4 by scan in R7, R8, C7 -- and lastly R5C5 4 by scan in C4 -- R7C5 7 by exception in C5 -- R7C4 9 by exception in bottom middle major square.
